A quick summary of Warrior Runes

Runic Power System

Runes are the ancient spoken language of Terra, that can be molded into a weapon. This ancient artform is passed down from one warrior to the next. The sacred words when channeled can form stored forms of magical force known as runes. These runes have a multitude of applications ranging from weapon enhancing powers, combat resistances, and other special effects.

Runic Power values along with any unused Runes extinguish at Reset and must be recreated at Reset.

NOTE: All Runes are Self Only

How do I choose my Runes?

Runes are chosen based on your Runic Power total. You will be given a set of runic power skill tags for your total runic power. You will have two sets of tags one set for opening and another for reset. The details outlined on each tag should be choosen for your opening ceremonies tags and filled in before game on is called. Your second set of tags must be filled out before the end of reset.

Rune of Elemental Strike

Cost:: 1

Once activated, this rune allows you to add the tagline of the corresponding element (Fire, Earth, Holy) to your weapon. This rune also enhances your base damage by +1.

Duration: Once activated this effect will last for 10 minutes or until the end of combat.

Rune of Aggression

Cost: 1

Once activated, this rune allow the warrior to infuse the anger spell into a target weapon of choice. Once you activate the Rune, the player must say “spell strike: Anger” loud enough to be heard and must strike the opponent's shield, weapon, or a part of the body. Once activated the spell is used up even if you miss the target or if they dodge for instance.

Duration: Once activated the rune takes effect instantly.

Rune of the Defender

Cost: 2

This rune allows the warrior to have an additional rugged.

Duration: Will remain until consumed or until reset.

Rune of the Brute

Cost: 2

This rune grants the warrior +1 magical strength until reset.

Duration: Does not require an activation, the effect persists until reset.

Rune of Hatred

Cost: Variable

Specify a creature. Each Runic Power enhances this runes force.

  1. Weapon base damage increased by +2
  2. Weapon base damage increased by +4
  3. Warrior gains a bonus Smite vs the Hated Creature

Duration: Weapon Damage does not require an activation, the effect persists until reset. The additional Smite grants the Warrior 1 smite against their hated enemy.

Rune of Destruction

Cost: 2

Once activated this rune’s power is focused into the wielded weapon. This rune grants the warrior a spell strike: Disintegrate. This causes target weapon or shield to be shattered into useless pieces - if the weapon is made of steel or better quality than the target must say, "No Effect!" and the item isn't destroyed.

Duration: Once activated the rune takes effect instantly.

Rune of Valor

Cost: 3

Grants the warrior 1 resist Anger/Berserk. When the player is struck with a Anger or Berserk spell/ability, they may use this resist to avoid taking this effect 1 time.

Duration: Does not require an activation, the effect persists until reset.

Rune of Restoration

Cost: 4

Fixes most non-high magic problems with a living body. This includes status effects and confining effects. To use this rune, the warrior will state "activating rune of restoration."

Duration: Once activated the rune takes effect instantly.

Rune of the Final Blow

Cost: 5

Grants 1 additional Last Stand. Can only craft 1 per reset.

Duration: Does not require an activation, the effect persists until reset or until consumed.
