Weapon Construction
A quick summary of Weapon Construction
Weapon Guidelines
Echoes of Athus uses PVC boffer and latex weapons which must pass a saftey inspection to be approved for use at EOA. PVC boffer weapons are the PVC boffer weapons are the easiest to use and least expensive to make.
Caution: Do not spiral wrap tape around a PVC weapon. Sprial wrapping is when you wrap tape around the foam over lapping contiously. This causes the foam to collapse and creates a solid baseball like surface that is not LARP safe for use. When applying tape over foam you should use single pieces of tape and use just enough to cover the exposed foam.

Material Details: May be made of all foam, OR if made of a harder core material, all edges must be wrapped in ½ in thick foam for safety. All shields are individually inspected and approved.
